National Forest Homeowners Association

The National Forest Homeowners Association organization works on behalf of forest cabin owners in all the national forest tracts throughout the United States. The NFH provides “leadership, information and advocacy” in support of forest cabin owners. Working with the US Forest Service and national legislators the National Forest Homeowners Association ensures that cabin owner interests are fairly and clearly represented as policies and laws are developed.

The MLIA tract is a member of the National Forest Homeowners Association.

The National Forest Homeowners website provides a lot of useful information for cabin owners. The Resource menu on the NFH website has links for helpful programs and information including:

  • Cabin Insurance is offered through Assurance Risk Managers, Inc (ARM). Click on Insurance for more information.
  • Cabins for Sale – The NFH has implemented a free service to list our cabins for sale & see other listed cabins. Click on Cabins for this information
  • Community Forum – Cabin owners can discuss and seek answers to a wide range of subjects related to our cabins. MLIA cabin owners as NFH members can post or reply by logging on. Click Forum to see the posts.
