Did you know that as a member of MLIA you are automatically a member of the National Forest Homeowners (NFH). They act as a lobbying group; doing advocacy, education and stewardship for the USDA National Forest Service Recreation Residence program (i.e., the authority under which we get to have our cabins on National Forest land). Check out their website for updates.
The NFH Virtual conference is Thursday-Saturday, April 25-27, 2024. It is entitled “Stronger Together: Building Relationships that Work”. Cost is $50 for NFH members until April 12th. After that the price goes up to $60

Also note: In the past, NFH updates were being posted on the NFH website, and duplicated in an email by MLIA. Some members liked the convenience; others didn’t like the extra emails. Going forward we are testing out having summaries of the NFH updates on the MLIA website.
